  Why Learn Spanish in Malaga?

Málaga is a city that sparkles because of its temperament. This shows above all in the best known folklore of Málaga: the song and dance of the Flamenco. Before and during Easter there are numerous processions.
That's when Málaga shows itself in all its pomp and circumstance, a joy to behold. The city has many historic attractions. Not just the old centre of Málaga with its countless Moorish remains but also the Alcazaba, a Muslim Fort, and the castle on Mount Gibralfaro are well worth a visit.

LOCATION
Our Málaga partner school is located in a beautiful Andalusian building dating from the 1950’s. You’ll study in pleasant surroundings and large, airy classrooms.

The school is surrounded by an impressive garden filled with Yucca palms, lemon trees, date palms and rubber trees, all of which contribute to a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere. During the hot Andalusian summer, the garden provides students with much-appreciated shade. Within 100 yards of the school you will find grocery shops, banks, a pharmacy, restaurants and bars. What’s more, you’ll be just 2 minutes from the beach!

Our Málaga partner school is open all year round. The minimum age in 18 years and you have, just as with don Quijote, a maximum of seven other students in a group.

COURSES
You can choose a intensive (four hours per day) or super-intensive (six hours per day) course, of at least one week’s length (to as long as you’d like!) You can start your course on any Monday during the year, even if you are a Beginner. (You may want to check the list of Málaga Holidays in the Málaga pricelist before choosing your dates.)

TEACHERS AND THE TEACHING METHOD

  • The selection of teachers and the teaching method are quite close to those of don Quijote. This is one of the most important conditions that we put on our partnerships.

ACCOMMODATION

  • You can choose from five types of accommodation in Málaga: in a shared student flat, in a private apartment, in a local hotel or student residence, or with a Spanish family. And you can always opt for a double or single room. In a Spanish family you’ll enjoy half board, meaning you’ll be served breakfast daily, and will then choose between lunch or dinner for your second meal. In a student flat or individual apartment, you’ll be able to cook your own meals.

ACTIVITIES AND EXCURSIONS

The school organises a wide variety of out-of-school activities, including welcome parties twice a month, Spanish films, guided visits to the city, museum tours, and weekend excursions to areas of historic and cultural interest in Spain and North Africa.

Our Opinion

If you want to combine sun, sea, and folklore while you learn Spanish, Málaga is the ideal choice. Studying Spanish in Málaga is more than just enjoying a Costa del Sol beach holiday. It is a unique experience you will always treasure.
